Database Creations understands that
sometimes products do not fit the needs of our customers for one reason or
another. Therefore, when returning products, we ask that you follow the
steps outlined below in our return policy.
Most of our products include a 30-day
money back guarantee. This gives you time to test the product to see if it
meets your needs. If it does not, you may return it within 30 days of
receipt for a
refund of the purchase price. All returns are subject to a 10% restocking
fee. No returns are accepted after the 30-day period. We will gladly
exchange damaged materials. Any products returned that were paid for using
an American Express credit card are subject to a 5% return fee.
Before You Return Products
Most product problems can be resolved
with a phone call to our technical support department. Tech support phone
numbers and contact information can be found in the documentation included
with your product. If tech support cannot resolve the problem, a product
exchange may be the solution. Call a Database Creations Customer Service
Rep. at 800-277-3117 who will help you find a product that will better
suit your needs.
In the event tech support or an exchange
will not correct the problem, you need to obtain a valid Return
Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to return the product.
Returning
Products
- The 30 day return period begins on the
date the product was received. We have a 30-day money back guarantee
for most software products and hardware. Please refer to additional
information below on products that can/cannot be
returned.
- Shipping and Handling charges are
not refundable
- Have your invoice number ready

- RMA numbers must be clearly visible
on the outside of the box the items are shipped in.
- Return the product by some trackable
method, such as UPS or FedEx
Returns will
NOT be accepted unless identified
with a valid RMA number!
Reason
for Return
We would like to know why you are
returning the product. We develop many of our products based on customer
requests and needs. Knowing what you want in a product helps us develop
better products for our customers. We may also be able to suggest a
different product that will better suit your needs. If you would like to
exchange a product, any price difference will either be refunded or
charged to your credit card or billing account.
Products MUST be returned in
resalable condition
- Your returned package MUST contain
ALL original material. This includes product boxes, disks/CD's,
manuals, and registration forms. Advertising inserts do not need to
be returned.
- Please do not write on the original
manufacturer's label, packaging or manuals.
- Include a copy of your invoice and
the reason for the return.
- The RMA number must be clearly
visible on the outside of the box the items are shipped in.
- Pack products securely in an
external carton and return by a reliable, trackable method such as
FedEx, UPS, Airborne Express, DHL.
- Downloaded software being returned requires
a signed software return letter.
Restocking Fees and Rejected
Returns
- Restocking fees may apply if the
product(s) do not meet the return policies stated above.
- With damaged product(s), we reserve
the right to refuse shipment and/or charge a restocking fee.
- Any item returned without a valid
RMA will be refused or returned.
- Any item returned beyond the 30-day
return period will be refused or returned.
Product Return Information
Software*
Most software products, unless otherwise
noted on each individual product page, include a 30
day money back guarantee. Please read the return policy for each product
on its individual product page.
Should you need to return a software product
purchased from Database Creations, Inc., a refund of the purchase price
of the product will be refunded to the purchaser if the product is
returned within 30 days of delivery of the product and in saleable
condition with original packaging. Shipping charges are not refundable.
If the product is not returned in saleable condition, a 10% re-stocking
fee will be charged. The purchaser is responsible for any shipping
charges incurred in returning the product to Database Creations, Inc.
Returned merchandise should be shipped using some trackable method such
as UPS or FedEx. Please call for an RMA before returning items to us.
Downloaded software requires a software return letter to be completed
and returned prior to issuing a credit.

Keystone Learning Systems offers a 15
day refund or exchange for their products. Please read their

Books
All books are non-returnable.
Hardware
Only un-opened hardware may be
returned! Unopened hardware that is returned will be subject to a
10% restocking fee. This includes scanners, cash
drawers, light poles, receipt printers, label printers and POS
keyboards. All hardware items must be returned in original packaging,
unopened and in
resalable condition.
Opened hardware items are non-returnable.
