About DFS Checks |
DFS products are carefully researched,
developed and tested. They give you quality products
at reasonable prices.
Regular imprinted orders are processed within 3 working
days, stocked items in 24 hours, and special instruction
orders within 6 days.
There is no extra charge for printing a standard heading
on imprinted products. Most forms shown without
numbering can be numbered at no extra charge if you request
it.
Delivery Information
Please allow time for delivery! Orders are normally
shipped via UPS. At your request, the order can be
shipped via Federal Express, UPS Next Day Air, or Express
Mail. (Additional shipping charges will be added to your
invoice).
For rush shipments, a rush service charge of $15.00 per order is
applied, plus any extra shipping costs incurred. Please call Database Creations for an estimate on shipping
times and costs.
Add a Free Business Logo!
DFS will print a business logo on your product (where
applicable) at no additional charge. A selection of
available business logos can be faxed or emailed to you by
contacting Database Creations, Inc. at 1-800-277-3117.
Custom Logos
DFS will print a business logo on your product (where
applicable). Send a clean black and white print
(preferably original artwork) of your complete custom logo
or send your artwork (on disk) in PC or Macintosh formats. Be sure to include all supporting graphic files and
typestyles (fonts) on your supplied disk. PLEASE NOTE:
We cannot work from photographs, raised print samples,
photocopies or sketches. It's also important that the
design does not contain screen tints or very find lines.
Please allow 8 working days for processing your first
custom logo order, 3 days for exact reorders. It is
sometimes necessary to redraw some detail and reset some
type in a compatible style. You'll be advised of cost
before we begin. A copy of your custom logo will be
retained in our files to expedite future orders. When
ordering, help us with a reminder that we have your artwork
on file.
Note: DFS reserves the right to decline any
logo or national trademark that we feel will not reproduce
properly (generally those with screen tints, fine lines,
clippings or raised print).
Additional Printing
Many forms are available with extra lines of type,
usually in the terms or description area. There is an
additional $9 charge for this service. Please inquire about
this extra printing on a per-form basis. |

While no one action can prevent fraud, using checks with security
features makes it more difficult for someone to alter and reproduce
your checks. In response to the check fraud problem, DFS has
developed and enhanced the check security features.

industry standard identifies that security features are
incorporated into the check.

Pantograph - Deters
attempts at alteration and unauthorized reproduction.

Micro
Print Signature Line - The
signature line on the check appears as a solid line. When
magnified, it reads "Authentic Document". If the check is copied
or scanned, the line becomes jagged.

Warning
Box - Gives a listing of all the
security features incorporated into the check and helps to deter
check fraud.

Original
Document Screen - Verifies the
authenticity of the check and is hard to reproduce.

available with additional premium check security features. Products displaying the Premium Check Security icon contain all the
standard security features listed above plus these state-of-the-art
characteristics:

Chemically Sensitive Paper
- Instantly shows signs of forgery attempts or chemical
alterations

Protects against scanning or photocopying. Fibers are only
visible under UV light.

check sample provides us with the MICR encoding
required to place your order. If a sample check or deposit
ticket is not available, contact your bank to get a MICR
specification sheet or simply use the template on the order form.

machine to view the form. If you don't have it, go to the

Information
Checks include 5 areas of imprinting,
as shown below, at no additional charge.
Consecutive
numbering is included in the MICR encoding. A second signature
line or other working in the signature area is available on most
checks.
When the order is received, Database Creations, Inc. will
